The Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of the Municipality of Calape, Bohol is the primary government office mandated to plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor programs, projects, and activities that promote the welfare and development of the youth sector.
LYDO Calape operates under the policy framework of Republic Act 10742 (SK Reform Act of 2015) and the guidelines set by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), working in close coordination with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC).
We serve all 33 barangays of Calape across a coastal municipality in the province of Bohol, reaching youth aged 15–30 through leadership programs, livelihood training, sports, and civic engagement.

What we are here to do
To empower the youth of Calape by providing accessible, relevant, and responsive programs that develop their leadership, civic responsibility, and livelihood skills — enabling them to become active contributors to their communities and local governance.
What we are working toward
A Calape where every young person — across all 33 barangays — is heard, supported, and equipped to lead. A municipality where youth participation is a cornerstone of good governance and sustainable community development.
